I have been using the Maxim LE software supplied with a QSI 683wsg camera for several years without problems till a few days ago. When Maxim LE starts up, it now always requires the registration details to be re-entered. It is then possible to use it for image processing but the camera control window is unavailable, even though the camera otherwise seems to be running normally and the camera's USB connection is recognised by the PC. Please can you suggest what may be causing the problem? I use a Fujitsu Pi 3625 laptop with Windows 32-bit Vista operating system for controlling the camera. Regards, Mike
Try right-clicking on the program icon and selecting Run As Administrator. Enter the license details and click OK. Then close the program and start normally.
