    Hello,

we have purchased STXL 16200 camera and we were trying some tests with external cooling (aqua circuit).
How can I get information about the lowest value of setpoint for regulation of CCD temperature? If I set -40°C, the temperature of CCD stops on -35°C (the power of cooling cell was only about 65%). Ambient temperature was 24°C.

Other tests were with disconnected cooling fan. Temperature of ambient was rising to +40°C and cooling was still running on 100%. Is there some high limit protection? Some cooling shutting off, when temp rise above tehe limit?

    Thank you.

The camera will not go into thermal runaway at full power if unmodified - it will turn up the fans if needed. If you disconnect the cooling fans then you are at risk of damaging the camera. Do not do that as it will void your warranty.

The minimum set point is -35C.
