   Can anyone tell me the diameter and thread on the AO8 opening (also looks like it matches the thread on the largest adapter plate for the SC2). Looking to get a threaded adapter that fits and downsizes to an M48 ring.

   The adapter plate that comes with the AO-8 has a T-thread, and includes a 2" thread-in eyepiece barrel adapter.
