    Hi SBIG team,

When l work with my STXL11002 (FW8G-STXL) at less than -15c, l get the SBIG driver: CFW error motor timeout. Error = 31004 message ...

I read on this forum a post about this error and the solution look like to ajust the tension adjustment into the filter wheel. It is possible the temperature will affect the original tension adjustment and l need to adjust it ?

    Thanks

    Martin

In theory thermal expansion and contraction could affect the tension. So this is possible. Usually the adjustment isn't that critical, but perhaps yours is simply too tight.

Martin, if you need this to be repaired, please contact @Bill via bill (at) sbig (dot) com
We will need the serial number of the unit and when you purchased it.
