    Curious... I haven’t had that problem in my observatory.

    I can feel that it gets loose a bit but I am not sure whether it will be too loose to lock sensor/prsim. I dont know how it will go during transportation, or if accidentally touched during setup/tear down. So it is safer to hold it in place. It will be less concern if it stays in observatory.

    Doug,

    Do you know what is causing "spike" in the image? It is not bad column (not in dark), and it exists in all subs (900s Ha) before meridian flip, but not after.

    Could be a reflection. Maybe there was a bright star just outside the edge of the field?
