After several years of non use, I tried to use my old ST8300m with my Mac (and The Sky professional) only to find that somehow the updates of Mac OS have now caused the camera to not be supported. I have dowloaded the latest OSX drivers from the website and also tried the various ‘fixes’ that can be found on the web (something to do with ‘kext’) but all to no avail, the ST 8300 refuses to connect. I have checked that it is still working by connecting via a Windows machine and here I can get it to work but don’t really want to go down the Windows route as all my other software is Mac based. Any suggestions? As mentioned, I have tried to see any solutions on the various forums but none seem to be a real fix.
