My ST-i camera smacked into my pier last night and the USB port broke off at the solder joints. I assume the USB cable was jammed into the port. What a bummer. Can this be fixed? Either re-soldered or a new board installed? The camera is a little over a year old.
Eric, The circuit board can be replaced. Most of the time there is damage done to the board that makes re-attachment improbable and unreliable. Send me an email at bill@sbig.com and I'll give you the details on sending it in. -Bill
