I have am intermittent problem with my ST-i guide camera. On some nights the guide stars show up as a horizontal band. The banding starts on the left left side at the row position of the star and stretches to the right. I can reset the camera use different imaging software, reset the computer and the problem remains. The next night I go out and the problem is completely gone. I can't be the only one with this problem so I'm posting this thread to find help Thanks
Am just another customer. Can you provide a bit more detail? eg attach a FITS file showing the problem, what software including version are you using, have you updated to the latest SBIG Driver Checker and checked if the drivers and firmware are up to date?
